Veltracon Medical is a medical membership from Veltracon Lifestyle AG in Zug, Switzerland. It gives members a 24/7 medical hotline, the “Rescue Me” emergency app, medical evacuation and repatriation, access to Swiss private medical care and a global network of specialists, second opinions, telemedicine and longevity programmes. Veltracon Medical coordinates care; it is not a healthcare provider and does not directly provide medical treatment.

There are three memberships. Emergency costs CHF 4,800 per year plus a CHF 2,000 onboarding fee. Holistic costs CHF 12,000 per year plus CHF 5,000 onboarding and includes the Emergency services. Longevity costs CHF 48,000 per year plus CHF 20,000 onboarding and includes the other two. The actual services following a virtual assessment or service proposal are not included in the membership.

Yes, and the terms differ per membership. With Emergency, family members can be added at CHF 2,400 annually per person. With Holistic, two children under 18 receive complimentary access to the Emergency membership and adult family members can be added at CHF 6,000 annually per person. With Longevity, children under 18 receive complimentary access to the Emergency membership and adult family members can be added at CHF 36,000 annually per person.

It has four components. Medical coordinators are multi-lingual operators who coordinate resources and responses, give instructions for crucial first aid and arrange an ambulance. Emergency doctors give real-time diagnoses and medical advice. Evacuation teams are deployed for safe evacuation from hazardous situations. Medical repatriation covers the return to your home or a country of your choice for medical care when necessary.

The app has three functions. It gives instant access to local emergency numbers for police, fire brigade and ambulances based on your geo-localization. It sends a rescue signal with your precise GPS coordinates to the Veltracon rescue centre, which mobilises rescue teams to your exact location. And it integrates as a pre-programmed function on satellite phones for use outside mobile coverage. The app is available for iPhone and Android and is included in every membership.
